How many Stalks do I really have in Stalk?
Ask me if idgaf
I'm ngl. 2 of my fav creators in Hip Hop Commentary had a cold war. I fw The We Love Hip Hop Channel and understand the importance of biggin up the scene in Toronto and Canada as a whole. Last Year, my favorite Character Assassin (along with a King) had a brief exchange that's been on ice since.
Let's examine it.
Friday Ricky Dred (Kofi “Friday” Carmichael) hosts We Love Hip Hop Network, a Toronto hip-hop news/podcast channel (~50–53K YouTube). He is also a rapper/manager with a long local presence. The network posts frequent rants, Drake/Toronto coverage, and responses to other creators.
Deleted Villain (`@DeletedVILLAIN` / YouTube channel branded “[Deleted]”) is a U.S.-based commentary channel (~120–124K). The gimmick is the “villain” persona and pack outs: long, stylized videos that stitch a target’s public clips, tweets, and interviews into a character-assassination essay. Other named targets in the same era include What’s The Dirt, Top5 Troy, and Rory. Tagline: “Ask me if I care.”
How the beef started (Friday’s account, which is the detailed public record)
Friday’s own rundown, repeated across August 2025 videos:
- Old Anthony Fantano clips resurfaced (slurs, crash-out era). Fantano posted an apology.
- Friday went after hip-hop commentators who had platformed Fantano and then stayed quiet.
- He named Deleted Villain, then walked it back when he thought Deleted was about to drop a Fantano video after a YouTube suspension.
- After that, Friday says he was misrepresented in a Deleted video (clipped / framed without the full context).
- That turned into a nasty Twitter back-and-forth.
- Then it escalated sideways: Friday says Deleted (or a fan / ghost page; he notes Deleted also produces) had a beat made about “the boy Friday, Ricky Dread.”
Key WLHH uploads in that window:
- Drake vs Kendrick Part 2 OTW… Deleted Dissed Me & More (Aug 13, 2025) — first on-stream reaction that Deleted mentioned him.
- Why I’m Not Afraid Of Deleted Villain (Aug 15, 2025) — “Deleted made a video and I got mentioned. Ask me if I care.” Friday says a pack-out does not scare him and a rebuttal would reframe Deleted. X post tagging `@DeletedVILLAIN` the same day.
- The Toronto Podcast Wars Heats Up (DELETED VILLAIN PACK OUT) (Aug 19, 2025).
- Deleted Villain Beef Got Worse (Aug 23, 2025) — the beat / fan-content escalation.
Friday’s recurring charge: Deleted’s whole brand is hit pieces; he “does extra homework,” hops in chats/comments, and tries to bully other creators into piling onto Fantano. Deleted’s format is the opposite claim: public clips + commentary, not private life.
Deleted does not appear to have a dedicated, still-public “Friday pack-out” on the same scale as his Rory / What’s The Dirt videos. Friday treats the mention + Twitter + the beat as the pack-out. Deleted’s larger catalog is Drake/Ye/Fantano/hypocrisy essays, not Toronto podcast civil war.
Where it sits in Friday’s other wars
This was one front among several 2025 “Toronto podcast wars”: Guttzy Guttz / FTV, Rock Boy Ninja, Relentless Diaries, Honcho Hoodlum calling him out for “beefing everybody,” Reddit rumor posts, etc. Deleted is the out-of-town commentary channel in that mix, not a local co-host split.
Scale check: the dedicated Friday-vs-Deleted videos sit in the hundreds to low thousands of views. Deleted’s pack-outs on bigger names do tens or hundreds of thousands. This was loud inside those two audiences, not a mainstream hip-hop news event.
AI scraping data vs personal stalking
These get mashed together in this kind of drama because both can produce a dossier. They are not the same act, intent, or legal category.
AI / automated scraping (typical meaning) - A system collects publicly available pages, posts, videos, comments, metadata at scale. - Purpose is usually training, search, archiving, analytics, or generating a summary — not targeting one human’s private life. - The “subject” is often incidental: one row in a huge crawl. - No relationship, no following in physical space, no attempts to contact family, no covert access to private accounts. - Legal gray area is mostly terms of service, copyright, and robots.txt — not harassment statutes — unless the scrape is used to doxx, threaten, or break into non-public systems.
Personal stalking (typical meaning) - A specific person is the target. - Pattern over time: repeated unwanted contact, monitoring, showing up, using private or semi-private info, involving third parties (job, family, kids), or creating fear. - Motive is personal: obsession, retaliation, control, humiliation of that individual. - Can use public data, but the use is directed and persistent. Public-source research does not automatically become stalking; the pattern and impact do. - In many jurisdictions this is a crime when it is repeated and causes reasonable fear. Commentary compilations of public YouTube clips usually do not meet that bar by themselves.
Useful middle category (what this beef actually looks like): adversarial public research / “pack out.” Deleted’s format and Friday’s rant-response format are both using the other person’s own published content as ammo. That is: - not AI training-scale scraping - not classic in-person stalking - still capable of feeling invasive because old clips, old tweets, and side comments get pulled into a narrative
| AI scrape | Pack-out / clip compilation | Personal stalking | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Target | Millions of pages | One creator’s public catalog | One person, including private life |
| Source | Public web by default | Public videos, tweets, streams | Public and private, plus physical |
| Intent | Train / index / summarize | Audience + argument + humiliation | Contact, fear, control |
| Scale | Industrial | Editorial | Personal and repeated |
| Typical harm | Privacy-in-aggregate, ToS | Reputation, pile-on | Safety, fear, disruption of life |
Where people talk past each other - “He dug up old tweets” ≠ stalking. That is archival use of public speech. - “The model ingested my blog” ≠ the model is following you home. - “He made a 25-minute video of my clips” is commentary / possible defamation or harassment if it crosses into threats, doxxing, or a campaign against non-public life. It is still not the same as a person waiting outside your building. - Conversely, wrapping stalking in “I just scraped what’s public” does not make it scraping. Intent and pattern decide.
On the facts visible here, the Friday–Deleted fight is commentary beef + clip warfare + Twitter, plus a diss beat. That is ugly and personal-feeling. It is not, from the public record, AI harvesting or a stalking case. The useful distinction is: machines hoover the open web; stalkers fixate on a human; pack-out YouTubers editorialize a public figure’s own output. Those three get confused because they can all produce a pile of receipts.
